Most of the tracks were done in two passes, first, the "rhythm," usually sequenced oscillators and samples, then another track was overlaid with trumpet and effects, or keyboard and effects. Some tracks are single-pass, one-take improvisations. "Saucer Ship" is two different sessions (from different years) with a good deal of editing applied. The "Scene" suite was recorded sequentially, in one session, leaving out one section. Lastly, NO DRUM MACHINES WERE USED.

Two Windows is dedicated to Mary C. Dill (1928-2022).
